Playback Toolbar Start, Stop, Pause, Tempo

To view information on each item of the Menu Bar, click on the item in the graphic below, or scroll down the page.

 

	Play	Top
Click the "Play" icon to start playback of the score. You can also start playback by Pressing the + [plus] key on the keyboard (see Keyboard Shortcuts). Selecting Tools > Playback > Play from the File Menu If you see the note of the score lighting up, but hear no sound: Make sure your computer speakers are turned on and the volume is up. Check the Volume settings on your sound devices; make sure you do not have "Mute" checked on. Make sure your sound card is configured with the Solero Viewer. See Menu Bar > Tools > Preferences - Play.

 

	Pause	Top
Select "Pause" to halt the playback. When "Play" is engaged, the score will begin playing from the place where Pause was activated. You can also Pause by Pressing the = [equals] sign on the keyboard (see Keyboard Shortcuts). Selecting Tools > Playback > Pause from the File Menu.

 

	Stop	Top
Select "Stop" to stop the playback. When "Play" is engaged the score will start at the beginning. You can also Stop by Pressing the - [minus] key on the keyboard (see Keyboard Shortcuts). Selecting Tools > Playback > Stop from the File Menu.

 

	Tempo	Top
Move the slider to the left to slow down the tempo. Move the slider to the right to speed up the tempo. To reset to original tempo, click on the reset icon (see next).

 

	Reset Tempo	Top
Click the Reset Tempo icon to reset the original (default) score tempo.
